Since today is Wednesday, April 16th, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed hits theaters in two days. Oh my, yes! Two days!
I’m sure you all know about the movie filled with scientific inaccuracies and nonsense, so we’ll cut that out of the picture for a while.
I’m going to attend the first run of Expelled. I’ll either hit it on Friday night, god nature willing, or Saturday. It really depends: if it’s not showing relatively locally on Friday, I’ll be skipping it and enjoying reading reviews of it from first day first runners. I’m going to go hang with my cousin Gage (16) and friend godfather Randy on Saturday, so we’ll see if we can catch a screening then.
As far as I know, they’re both creationists, but do not support ID/neo-creationism in schools. They’re also people that have no problem with evolution (i.e. deniers, for no reason) or science in general. So I wouldn’t expect them to be swayed by such a (bad) film.
Still, I’ll reserve what little judgment I have left to give for Expelled until the 18th or 19th. Or whenever someone puts that shit up on Alluc.
To the producers of Expelled;
You should be afraid. Very afraid. You may not let critics review before it comes out, but when it hits, there will no doubt be a shitstorm coming your way made up of people on every side of the arena who know you’re utterly full of it on every point.
Ah, well. Regardless of whether I see Expelled or not, Saturday’s gonna be a blast!
great.. is it all about failures?
Sort of!
